The BJP staged a dharna in the well of the BBMP Council on Thursday demanding withdrawal of hike in property tax. Leading the protest, the Opposition BJP leader in the Council, Padmanabha Reddy said that the hike of 20 per cent and 25 per cent in the taxes is a burden on the citizens, which should be withdrawn.
