BENGALURU: The ongoing drive by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to shut down illegal commercial activities in residential areas has taken a new turn with a senior official of the civic body receiving a death threat. Sarfaraz Khan, BBMP joint commissioner for health and solid waste management, received a letter, possibly from miscreants supporting those running unauthorized businesses in residential areas.
